As transparent as chrystal quartz
Surrounded by a nimbus of gold
Chained by thoughts and emotions
Forever bold
I am animal yet vegetable and mineral
I am Niobe daughter of Tantalus
My exquisite beauty is unseen
Behind the veils of Venus
Concealed in a web of deceit and lies
While the Tarantula of evil awaits to bite!
He is beautiful, tempting, like fire and ice
He catches my breath, like a moth in flight
The Angel of death is beckoning me
Behold, the conjuror dealing out death
Scythe in hand, or scalpel maybe
Ready, waiting, for my last breath
Those gates of pearls and heavenly wisdom
Loom ahead in my mind and integrity
Knowingly, drawn to the gates of eternity
Locked out, of my own Immortality
