Posing upon straws of sun
I side-skip golden tightropes,
putting the freak into nature.
You laughed,
so I grabbed the moon,
threw it over the cow
and caught it with spoon-
challenging dish
to serve itself cold.
You thought I was crazy
but I reminded you
that I passed on fiddling with the cat!
Humpty took risks
dozing sunny side up
on depressed earth;
fooling the sky
into admiring
its imposturous
reflection.
You sat up and mumbled
‘So we are black sheep!?’
‘No! Bar-ber black sheep! ‘
we shave down people
to feel cleaner, closer;
but the offcuts
say more about our style
and heads.
We are splendidly tragic!-
so let's fall down,
let's break that crown
because
love will come tumbling after.

ummm.....my heart is full to bursting!

WOW! From what ridiculously creative part of your brain did you find these words? Tell me so that I might tap into it as well...
This is a fine piece of work, my dear. Not only is it exceptionally weird and so perfectly imaged, but it is a materpiece of eccentric fairy tale poetry.
I'm loving this mind blower. This is something I strive for every time I pick up a pen.

It's called rebellion love
and I am a wierd sort. Also I work with kids ALL day so nursery rhymes are engraved into my psyche!- why not shake things up a little?
