Tears spill over as the urge beckons,
Resisting temptation, crying out in emotional torment,
Shy away from this world; internalise the pain,
no-one's going to listen anyways.
Fighting the feeling; watching them walk side by side,
Far away from the one that sits forgotten,
Nursing the rejection, cursing the person,
Wishing that for once she wasn't looking in from the outside.
Passing by, things speed up, a life that is longed for;
pushed upon the person who isn't sure what she wants,
watching as the people talk amongst themselves,
dying to scream out and get some attention.
Once more pushed aside when things start to pick up,
Smiling when the inside is twisting and rotting,
expelling the rot in the only way that is known,
One more kiss; where does this life fit in?
Create a world, only for one life to fit,
Search for another that will fill the gap as the loneliness appears,
Assuming triumph the world collapses,
Once more the kisses the only aid.
Shine on the metaphor; one last time,
Fit it into a social situation where it's accepted,
"Stay beautiful" they cry; "it'll be ok",
Show it to her as she cries in the numbness that encompasses all.
One more time She'll shout,
"Stay with me, don't leave me again",
Once more the calls ignored, pushed aside like all her other requests,
All they keep on saying... "Stay Beautiful".
