You see him in the shadowed light
Your mind says run away
But lo your heart has taken flight
Yet not a word you say
You leave the boy and on you go
To the place where you belong
You know him not yet still you know
He sings your hearts true song
You cannot rid him from your mind
Though no one knows his name
He is the one your heart did find
This is life's cruelest game

Great poem. Congratulations on the gold trophy. It seems to me that you mispelled a word.
"Lo" in line 3: what's that suppose to be?
That's the only thing that I caught.
Great poem indeed, Dylan. I wish you luck in the future.
Keep penning,

nice! rhyme and flow, rhyme and flow, this is good dear sir a man after my own heart in style , small tip on the last line is breaks the flow perhaps you could try the line "this life's cruellest game" when you read it out loud it sounds right to my ear. all in all a good read and write!! well done!!
