It is divine,
for a thought reached
out and reveled
in her sphere;
pure admiration
landed wholly.
She pours words:
nectar pouring slowly from a gem
bejewelled and crowned;
a universe transfixed
in releasing her glory.
I could only hope
to be some type of
little star in
her galaxy;
the prompt released
upon these eyes
and joyfully proceeded
to her plateau,
of creation.

I'm blushing...thank you for the compliment. The poem is directed towards the poet who invited me to partake in this contest. She's quite brilliant, so I felt honored that i was invited.

this is fluid, both in thought and execution; the subtle alliterations and assonance work well, especially upon the eyes whilst reading. i enjoyed this.

thank you for entering.
