Stood-Up at the Alter

I have been since noon.

The groom is on the loose.

Friends say forget him

I'm waiting, he is still not here.

I just want to cook his goose.

Mac your poem is so true. When I was a child a neighbor of ours was stood up at the Altar. She was a lovely young lady.

LOL And "cook his goose" you surely should. I cannot imagine such a smack in the face for a lovely bride to be. I mean especially in an era where we have cell phones and all. LOL I had to chuckle although I would never want to be her. Great job! The best to you in the contest.

    Always ♥
