Ella enchanted

Ella enchanted

Your laugh like an exquisite melody of the sirens,
dances off your delicate lips, and dissolves all resolve from
my once dauntless yet now enraptured soul.
Enthralled by your elegance, your essence, your fragrance.
Sweet resignation to your emanation, engrossed, entangled, entwined.
amorous placidity, refined repose.

Now has the fusion been sundered, and you are once again in bondage,
in a jar on the self: a plaything for the childish tyrant to defile with lies.
Locked away in a tower, bound by pity for your captor.
As much as with the passion of my soul do I wish to unshackle
you from  his bedpost in the tower. I would move the mountains, part the sea, battle goblins and slay ogres But you must untie yourself; and it must be something you want; I can’t force that.
Only you can break the spell Ella enchanted. I can only wait for you outside for you to ride off into the sunset with.
I miss you.
