My Brother: Gaaron Stephens

MY BROTHER: GAARON STEPHENS
we've taught him so many things
mostly about the world and the pain it brings
we taught him about people and their ways
we taught him a brothers love never fades
we told him there are no friends, only aquaintances,
and we've been proven right on many occations
we taught him about family, but he never really had one,
but once he found his brothers he was stunned
on what it feels like to be loved,
to be put first, and above,
he has always been kept behind a black curtain
kept in the shadows, treated like a burden
being pushed to the corners of a circled room,
like a lotus, deprived of his bloom,
force to keep it all in, he was unemotional,
never had the comfort of a friend, he was unsocial,
he was pushed away, always felt unwelcome,
he was treated like a dog, a bone was seldome
but then, Shane and Austin came to town,
and showed him how brothers get down
he quickly learned brothers come first
no longer deprived, given water for his thirst
he blew his first blunt with me, it was great,
we always partied together, once for three days straight,
we got drunk, partied, and had a blast,
we were brothers, so we said fuck the past,
we are the future, brothers for life, eternity
The Stephens' Brothers, a class of quality,
we taught him of Shangri-La, the light,
like he was our younger brother, we taught him to fight,
we taught him how to smooth talk and lie,
just so he could hang out with his brothers that night,
we taught him how to tell friend from enemy,
we taughy him even enemies act friendly,
we taught him what the women like,
and he mastered that shit right,
we taught him how to be a man, to take responsibility,
he strived to be like us to the best of his ability,
we taught him to say what you feel, fuck what they say,
well hell we taught him the Stephens' way,
we've always been brothers from the start
known as Gaaron Hicks, but was Gaaron Stephens at heart
