I'm at the cross road
what should i do
follow GOD's instructions
or stay with you;
if only you could comprehend
i am not leaving
i'm on a mission
this is not our marriage's end
it is a quest on which i must be
i must follow GOD's instructions
even if you don't understand
and will perhaps leave me
i pray daily
for GOD to touch your heart
so you can understand
the life's path i had to start
i've run and run
for many years
only to be put down by you
and shade many tears;
no matter how you feel
on this mission i must go
i hope that someday
it's purpose you'll understand and know:
