Everyone has a purpose in life. Most never know their calling.
Some walk blindly through life taking and give anything back.
Then there are others that stand out to all who know them.
They show what courage is all about.
I was a Green Beret and saw many tales of courage.
But courage found in combat is instant and is over soon.
That kind of courage you will find in firemen, police, and
many others.
It show up for a short time without though for themselves
and they do things that amaze us all.
But to be born without some of the basic things that make our
every day lives normal. And to face them everyday with a smile
through the pain and a faith in God that never wavers.
Its not a why me? Why not someone else?
It’s always, thank you GOD for another day in your beautiful world.
When things get bad, there’s no thought of giving up. There’s
those that need her smiling attitude and fath. She is a true inspiration.
And that is her calling. To show us real courage and fath.
As long as theres a me, She will be "My Angel Named Desire."

Oh My P.N. this swells my eyes
and I think I ran out of kleenex~
I'm so Happy for when I came back yesterday- I could feel the Love and realized there were pieces written~ which I knew would bring me to tears
I feel weightless and as You have spoken...Why me? but then the answer came
as Why not You? What a Gift You all have brought forth
When I was in the hospital thinking of how I miss all You guys, could not help
but smile knowing how Blessed I truly am~ this is a Gem~ You are so Precious!!

I had written something before but pushed the wrong button and lost the lot. LOL!!!!!!!!!!This is a most wonderful piece written for someone who certainly has gained your respect in so many ways. Courage is not something that everyone can muster and it always seems to come at the most unexpected times and and chanels. Your dedication is a true witness to someone who has given much of themselves and chooses to live life for the moment rather than live in the moment and has shown many the special DESIRE for being at peace within themselves.
