I had a little mouse
It would not swim
Would not swim
I put it in the sea
But it just sank further in
I jumped into the water once
To taste the salty spray
But those waves
They're colder than they look
They took my breath away
Through the lumen
My blood flows
In the lumen
My blood's froze
They said, just leave those waves
You're not cut out to swim
Have fun in other ways
Got to find another way
It'll lead me to my grave
That mouse was gnawing on the cheese
I was begging, please
That mouse, it ate up all the cheese
And I'm still begging, please
I'm no mermaid
Just wash up on the shore
Veins a aching, feeling so sore
But that mouse, it stills wants more
It's not interested anymore.
