I woke up this morning
With tears in my eyes
With dreams of times past
The soft kisses you brushed onto my hair
The way you held me in your arms
How I felt complete when I was with you
How when I see you now that my heart ceases to beat
How my breath catches when I hear your name
But now when I think of you my eyes come to tears
But crying will not do any good
A world of heartbreak for a small price
I will get my breath back from you
And although it might take a while
My heart too
