Did you know,
you can fall as fast out of love
as you did in?
Well, not with us.
Your so assuring-
It’s like you whisper a list of promises
in my ear and sign along the line,
my lips.
I can trust you, it’s a good feeling
to know, I am in control.
This wont expire,
wear out, die out.
We wont let it.
You effortlessly make me feel safe and secure,
your arms are towers, they lock me away.
Painting scenes of flawless perfection,
like the world is as fine
as you and me.
Come into my arms and give me reason,
why we belong together.
I want some proof that this will last,
simply forever-
and if forever’s not enough then we will stay in eachother arms
hoping beyond our lives, something will be become more of us.
