For seasons come and seasons go.
As love travels through ones soul,
and 'tis that I see a man walk strong.
To face a bitter world alone.
If love could only see past me,
and realize I too must be free.
Then in lust it wouldn't reign
and bitterness would not live again.
And throughout lonely tear drops from my eyes.
For there upon lips rest rehearsed lies.
Then love within self would again be reclaimed.
If at once the heart was broken again.
And, "Why, we ask, is love so cruel?
Because it lies in the hands of fools,
and now I look to no man for my hear to rest.
I'll give it to God who'll love it best.

Sweety don't be so hard on your self, Love comes when you least expect it. Your a beautiful Lady. With a lot of wonderful charm. That prince charming will apear one day. I am glad you are writing again it helps with the sadness of ones soul and heart. I send you my love always and for ever. I love these two stances there my favorite;
"If love could only see past me,
and realize I too must be free.
Then in lust it wouldn't reign
and bitterness would not live again.
And throughout lonely tear drops from my eyes.
For there upon lips rest rehearsed lies.
Then love within self would again be reclaimed.
If at once the heart was broken again."

Hi Mom!!! Thanks for reading this. I actually wrote this poem at age 19. It was I guess a forshadow of what would be of what I've known recently in my life. Anyhow, it is one of my favorites, and that is why I decided to post it here again on AP to share with everyone. Love you and miss you much!!!
