A thought for the day

God says " Let your petitions be made known to me"
And I will guard your heart and your mental power"
His comforting thoughts are everlasting
Every minute every hour
I will take your problems and will make them mine
For I am always near you, I see into being
Your distressed state I understand
For I am the Almighty God, the One all seeing
My Angels surround you to protect you from danger
Embrace them with your faith and love
They will guide you each day and night
Myriads upon myriads, like the stars above
My beloved Son I sent you as a sacrifice for life
He is part of you, he is shepherding you
He laid bare his heart in death for you
In this world that's full of strife
Take my hand I will guide you through pastures green
My table is full of riches, enjoy the delights
Read your bible daily
Between the lines, the unveiled sights
A revelation of the coming of the Son with his sword
When the Devil and his angels are thrown in the abyss forever
And a new Heavens and Earth will be formed
That no man can sever
Almighty God I thank you for opening my eyes
For your blessings are profound and within my heart faith lies
The greatest love of all is Yours that you give to us today
So I accept your hand in mine
As I bow my head to pray

A wonderfully done prayer/poem and so true that Angels surround us and also true of Satan and his demons surrounding us as well. The sword of truth and God's power will prevail in the end, whenever that may once again arrive. Too soon I suppose considering the shape of the world as it is today. Thank you for your entry and best of luck... Scott
