(I got my first real six-thing!)
it takes a crane to build a crane ~
I just wanted you to comfort me
I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined…
I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden --
you, get up every morning
I'm glad you're home,
you, with the sad eyes
[from underneath the trees, we watch the sky]
well, I've heard those city singers singin 'bout how they can love
there used to be a graying tower alone on the sea.
my child arrived just the other day
{head underwater}
when I'm feeling blue, all I have to do…
she's like the wind through my tree
saying I love you
I got brass in pocket:
this used to be my playground [used to be]
Excuse me, madam
I'm coming out, I'm coming!
well, the midnight headlight find you on a rainy night!
I spent 20 years trying to get out of this place
(your everlasting summer,)
she's a brick house.
I feel so bad, I got a worried mind
(I want to live)
you got a smile so bright.
girl, to be with you is my favorite thing
I Took My Baby,
someone told me long ago there's a calm before the storm,
all the leaves are brown ;
you have my heart &
I got a pocket, got a pocketful of sunshine!
oh oh oh oh oh
I wanna love you and treat you right,
she Was More Like A Beauty Queen From A Movie Scene /
what if I said yes?
L.A. proved too much for the man,
they paved paradise and put up a parking lot.
overseas through the air
a lonely mother gazing out of the window
well, I love a rainy night,
it's been a hard day's night --
what happened here???
every breath you take and every move you make,
there she was, walkin' down the street -
it's strange to think the songs we used to sing
I don't feel like loving you today,
take all of your wasted honor,
fly, robin, fly
{doo-dloo-doo-doo-doo}

"Well I've heard those city singers singin 'bout how they can love

"L.A. proved too much for the man,

loved those parts ! There were some other good parts in here, but I don't think they all meshed very well together. Granted, it is difficult when you don't have something to electronically do this for you ahaha as I've told some others, I think if you put it in a different format, it could seem a lot more profound then if everything was left mashed together. It just doesn't help the flow. If there was some other punctuation, too, for some distinction, that could definitely help with your piece.
thanks for entering !

I didn't mean to scramble my life around so much as to not back to you, but I just moved 350 miles. I did play with your permission to add punctuation -- but, since you didn't let us rearrange lines, my mind got too tired figuring out where the natural line is anymore. -bird
