Soaked with the blood of carnage
twisted in their lies
Split open at the trunk
the fiendish womb of death defies
The willow of the crypt has stood
a gate to the other side
Letting misery come and go
where good and bad collide
Jutting up to heaven’s gate
this evil arbor edges forth
Spewing hatred in its leaves
falling south and north
Its sap runs red with killer’s thoughts
spreading demon’s seed
Corrupting men and women
bent on most nefarious deeds
In darkness by the blood moons light
the terror to creep in
Decimating all our decency
in replace of vile sin
Wicked is the torment
as the tortured screams are herd
Insanity to rule the day
spoken in barbed words
Let no one lye in safety
as the mist crawls through the night
All shall feel the stinging chill
many to die of fright
And sway now to the devil’s song
leaves scattered to the wind
As if to stand there laughing
so heinously it’s grinned
Erasing peace throughout the night
of deadly hallows eve
Slowly until this time next year
our wits shall be retrieved

A truly eerie write, great imagery and story. The first stanza sets the pace for this venture into fright night, All Hallow's Eve.
I wish you best in the contest
