October gave a party,
Like she always does.
It was the last day of the month,
Because it fit like a glove.
All the foliage had changed,
This way you had to think -what was it's name.
The party was to start at mid-night,
At ten-thirty they began to come.
You could hear them run,
Whipping up the leaves for fun.
There were only shadows,
Because the evening still had light.
As the witching hour grew near,
One would not beleve.
There were ghost and gobblins,
Witches of every kind.
Then the little devils,
With pitch forks hid behind.
Had i not climb a tree,
That night for rest.
I would have never seen this.
They said humans were never allowed,
For the fear they would be changed.
The sight of them made me turn gray.
You know the strangest thing,
Well while watching them that night.
I began to feel a little strange.
I had no fever, i just didn't feel the same.
After it was all over, someone called me by name.
Going by the lake I noticed I had --no frame.
