I am your daughter
so I am told.
You’re supposed to love me
at least till I’m old.
You say you do but really
you don’t.
You say you’ll help me but really
you won’t.
I’m full of anger, loneliness
and sorrow.
Deep inside the space is
just hollow.
You do not realise
I’ve been slitting my wrist.
All I do is stab
and then twist.
All you care about are the others;
my younger sister and
two older brothers.
Your husband (my Stepdad) and
baby unborn.
You care about them but with me
you just mourn.
I am the accident you never wanted.
You feel by me you’ll always be haunted.
So now I’ll die and leave you free.
No more should you all be
haunted by me.
