I named my alarm clock Fred
I know thats very strange
Fred sits next to my bed
but one day there was a change
Fred did not beep at 7 0 clock
and i was late for school
he made me change his batteries twice a day
i told Fred 'This is not cool'
Fred must be mad about something
what did i do to make him act this way
i really miss the old Fred
my eyes are baggy and grey
i cannot carry on living like a reck
i must talk to Fred, but no
i bought him with my money
i've done no thing, so , SO!
there i will just trash him away
i'll put him in the rubbish bin
if thats how he wants to play
-2 hours later-
I confess i can not cope without Fred
I'll just take him out of the trash bin
i will just talk with him
and that way we will both win
So i talked with Fred that day
and we talked for hours we lay
untill i found out why he was mad
i forgot to remember his birthday
Author notes
This is just a unusual poem that came out of me staring at an alarm clock trying to think of a poem. Lol! Alarm clocks have feelings too you know .They do a job for you.
