Gem-Cutter: A Double Etherée

In
an odd
and playful
mood, I refine
my work, chiselling
and carving a diamond
as would a gem-cutter in
perfecting those facets until
a scintillating jewel is formed,
stunning in its beauty and clarity.
Likewise I focus with an exquisite
attention to each minute detail;
syllables are counted and line
lengths carefully adjusted,
such endless polishing
diligently wrought,
hence revealing
the pristine
mind-cut
form.

    Awesome!

    Awesome work, Carol!

This diamond has been cut well. It speaks of and for itself with clarity, and it makes the statement that the author is highly adroit at this intricate and intriguing form.

Indeed it takes more than just talent and inspiration to produce a faceted gem. It requires specialized skills: knowledge of words and language, tools of the tongue, and an expert eye extreme intricacies.

And you my dear are a master craftsman and this piece a glittering example!

    Bravo!

      Thanks!

Thank you, Marianne, for the positive comment. Working with this form is much like gem-cutting, in many ways, with such precision required to arrive at the "diamond."
