I believe the evidence of God is all around us.
I believe that everyone is subject to His justice.
I believe in grace but only as a gift of love.
I believe that faith alone can stay the wrath of God above.
The omnipotent Creator of the universe
doesn’t obligate His favor to His creatures’ gifts or works.
Nor does He subject us to capricious whims and quirks:
Simple faith or lack thereof will find us blessed or leave us cursed.
I believe the law of God requires of us a penance.
I believe that God in love has carried out our sentence.
I believe that Jesus Christ the Son of God has paid the price.
I believe He was for us the perfect Sacrifice.
Faulty righteousness before Divinity can never stand.
Only perfect righteousness achieves the standard He commands.
Our universal need to know and have His favor
is met by His provision of a righteous Savior.
I believe the Christ has conquered death to reign on high.
I believe that with His wounds He is our Mediator.
I believe the Spirit guarantees our faith before we die.
I believe the Spirit dwells in every true believer.
Just as Jesus bore our penalty in dying for us,
by the Spirit righteousness becomes imputed to us.
We may now approach the Father in a state of grace.
Born again through His work and faith, we may stand before His face.

Only through our belief and trust are His promises delivered to us in ways we cannot fathom or understand. Belief is hard for many, but those of us who do believe still face our trials daily.
