I wonder if I polly-fill the cracks
and plant forget me knots,
you will remember

perhaps I'll just steal

the stars,stuff them

in a quilt to keep you warm

or

I could wander through
your thought process,
leave indelible prints of LIKE

write a few memories
across each page
of your year book

this way
you can replay the re-runs
and remember when

'C' stood for

cats
cigars
cognac
