Drink to us devotedly a toast,
in celebration to our flourish: festive
in warm wishes and in glow; salute
to girdles free and arms that hold.
Smoldering our eyes in adoration
and in love. To lips soft fingertips,
to simulate a kiss, in teasing touch ...
Feed me wheat of good and honest bread,
a drop of sweet, and sway me then in wed
till deep repose on lavender and cotton bed.
Then let me dream and quietly dream me then:
the landscape where you find your hearth,
your music and sheltered preserve
of gentle passion, fond in mildly curve.

Hi! Visiting son in Oklahoma. Had a wonderful talk with my 9 year old grand daughter before bed time about who made god...My 3 year old grandson's birthday today; I was trying to explain ato him how your first line reflects the fact English is your second language. Of course I have learned your style is skillful and ecclectic and there may be purpose to your verbage. I think if you look at swapping celebration and flourish, you would see what I am talking about. Hope yyou aare happy and seeing God in the work of your hands! Best to you...

I love the fact that ...
some find my work intriguing, being they 3, 30 or 300!
Of course I may use words in any way I wish. Thank you for swapping my vagueness until you find sense somewhere.

I really like and enjoy the illustration and color scheme. It speaks softly of promised endorphins.
-
A very eloquent poem, artfully portraying love through rich metaphor. Nicely done!

Oh sooo enchanting. Except for the lavender that is. Could for the life of me never breathe that cloying sweetness.
Oh now I have gone and ruined the moment. Shucks, typical male as Tina T used to sing.
Still, except for that annoying scent, a glimpse of heaven sent.
