Nicole's Poem

I can see it in your eyes
You're losing your touch
That once seductive smile
And your amorous stare
Have all withered away
Into a harsh, defunct expression
Something inside you has begun to deteriorate
I can see you unravel
More and more with each moment passing by
Where does beauty go when all love has died?
With such a fragile state of mind
Corruption can lead to anything
And self-destruction is the easiest escape
A deep seeded hate brought to bear
brings the ashes of your heart inside out
An open door now closed against your heart felt destruction
An off hinged hunger driven deep by despair
Collapses your insides and empties your lungs
A slow dose of poison drank without a care
More anguish steeped in a corrupted dread
A broken bottle of inequity
Takes your papery husk and devours your vulnerability
Corroded symbols boast your misdeeds
and flaunts your silent oppression

So very sad, but very surreal and vivid. Great job.
Just so you know, you're added to my favorites. Only ones who I feel are great writers that paint very vivid thoughts in my head make it onto my favorites. (I only have two people so far.) Wonderful write!
