Angel Rush

I lift up my eyes
To the twilight skies
As I feel the rush,
Of an angel's soft hush.

I feel the breeze,
As an angel did squeeze
Past without stutter,
Its' wing softly flutter.

Surrounded by love,
Sweet care from above,
My senses dwell
In this celestial spell.

So peaceful and calm
Soothed by heavens balm,
My soul gives praise
For thy marvelous ways!

I did not initially understand the process of this contest and thought it simular to Griswolds Collaborative Contest. I have returned and finished the poem myself to serve as a sample of my work. Hope this is what you were looking for.

I also invited several other poets to this contest that have written in Griswolds other Collabortave contest so there may be some confusion as to what you expect from this contest.

    I Could Almost

    hear a chorus singing praise to Him who reigns above. You have captured a true celestial image in your brief stanzas. Your imagery is spot on through the words you have aptlly used.

    A Beauty also the way it flows...rolls off the tongue~~
