The Autumns multi colored leaves ,
have all now fallen from the trees .
Stick seasons here and as they proudly
stand . Their branches bare to
show the land .

Each year , when their leaves do fall .
Their skeletons are seen by all . In
between these sticks and beyond them lie .
Many gift's to catch one's eye . Rock ledge
walls and streams and falls . Mountains
snow glazed in yonder high . Amazing to
see for you and me , as they touch the
velvet sky .

All these wondrous things stick season brings .
With this time of year comes so much cheer .
Bringing a better view to me and you of the
beauty of the lands . This is the reason that
stick season was created by Gods hands ...

A nicely rhymed piece with good flow and a more positive message about stick season with its own unique way of letting us see the landscape and the winter tree lines. I took a class on winter twig and bud identification and was amazed at how much beauty is to be found in bare branches after years of only really looking at the leaves. Thank you.

This is an excellent write about the wonderful autumn season and your words definately created beautiful images that allowed us to see the season in its all together. There is nothing more spectaular than watching the leaves fall to the ground and leaving the bare sticks reaching skyward. Makes a great view for painting and also eerie poems. lol!!!!!!!!!! Brilliant flow and rhythm. I think the fall would also have to be one of my favourite seasons next to spring. Thanks for sharing and the very best in the contest.
