An uninvited companion
once and forever
Omnipresent in life.
In the darkness
IT lurks
A DARKNESS
waiting for its prey to stumble
so that it may drag a soul
once filled with
LIGHT and
HOPE
down into the deepest recesses of consciousness
forever holding it prisoner
until at last there is nothing left but a specter
that will in time itself, will become the hunter
of souls
and an enemy of
LIFE!
