If I Say...

If  I say…..
I know what you are
My love for you will not fray
What will you do if I say I see your scar?

Would you laugh at me pretend it was just a childish game
While I know that you are more than you appear
I know it deep down flickering like a flame
You r mysterious eyes drawing me near

And the Day has come to confess
That I well and truly know
When I tell you what I know, you run your hand down my neck in a deadly caress
Then you simply step into the sun and your secret is revealed your skin is aglow

Your skin is glittering like marble it is illuminated in the summer glow
I don’t know if I should run and hide
I know that is impossible for me that taking me from you will increase my woe
My worst fears have been confirmed you are trying to tell me of the bright side of the dark side …..

I can see it in your face that you have trouble believing it yourself
That there can only be one fate worse than death
To go beyond the border of life unable to kill oneself
To be the hated, feared mortal, and without breath

When I say ‘I don’t care’ that I would rather die than be away from you
You didn’t yell and get angry like I thought you would you smile
And put your stone cold lips against my neck and I know that I really appeal to you
Your eyes were red like fire holding me under your spell it was to late when I realised that your beautiful face was hostile.

What do you think?
