Friendship matters, it keeps you walking
along the path of laughter
but sometimes you will lose your way
and have no one to follow after
There are the friends that mean so much
beside them, you'll follow along
you hold their hand and you're never sad
nothing between you, ever goes wrong
You have the best laughs you've ever had
you'll cry the most if you break apart
but feelings left unspoken
can't be forever, stored in your heart
Sometimes, though, you walk so far
you become so attached to that friend
sometimes you want to be with them
from now until the end
This feeling you feel, we call it love
it comes only so often
because it started hand in hand
the feeling won't ever soften
Always know that feelings matter
without them, hearts would be broken
but always say them because hurt is caused
by feelings left unspoken
