Death of a man

I ran from the monster, a truly hideous gremlin
I ran faster, harder and dared not look back
But one last look back and I knew I was smitten.
Then the beast tackled me, I landed with a smack.
Running is futile the beast said with a grin,
Face the facts, give up, I win.
Never I said in a yell of emotion
I can not, will not except that notion.
What do you lose by becoming a whole?
My dignity, integrity, but mostly my soul.
Then the beast slid out a delicate apple,
My mouth watered, as I lost the battle.
I gave in and bit into this tasteful snack
Only to see the beast put an arrow in my back.
At least give me your name so I can have someone to blame.
My name varies but the meaning’s are the same
Cupid or love is the most common.
I am King of compassion a lover’s lawman.
So I looked into her eyes as our lips intertwined
And I noticed that Katie looked back into mine.
Death of a man!
Yet I have not mourned her yet,
I’m to busy fondling and kissing Katie’s neck.

Author notes

This was not written by me but yet a very good friend of mine named Tameron. Him and I both came across katie's and have similiar story's but he wrote this back in ninth grade we didn't even know each other but this is his story. Hope you enjoy. This is not ment to hurt so I hope you don't take this personal as if Im trying to have a deeper meaning.
