[ How can you ever know the truth ]

How can you ever know the truth
When all you ever do
Is believe in everything
Everybody else tells you?

How can you think for yourself
When you are always
Taking their advice
And fulfilling their wishes?

How can you ever stand for anything
When you always let
Other people shatter your dreams
And tell you you're wrong?

How can you be you
How can you be true
How can you know who you really are
Walk your own path and walk far

I just wrote this down at the very spurt of the moment as it was coming out. It definitely needs to be revised, but I'm just going to leave it posted for now until I can get back to it, that way I won't forget it.

    Delivering a message...the honest truth to stand up for your beliefs, views, and thoughts. This poems is powerful, for we should all be individuals. Individual, who state their opinions and support their opinions no matter the adversity, which they might have to weather through to be truly themselves.
