The Hour Glass

Missing image

designed  to  tell  time  the  hour  glass  is  true

sand falls with momentum through and through

moving  slowly through  the crevice

accurately we know the  time

when the sand hits  the line

time  waits  for  no  one

watch the grains move

golden sand

slowly

falls

through

the space

telling time

it works no more

who broke the hour glass

the hour glass is shattered

unable to keep  time anymore

all  of  our  time  has  slowly  gone

sand creeps through the side unto the floor

time  now  stands  still as we wait for the end
