A Journey

so delicate,  it is
barely there
peaceful ambiguity
and acceptance of all
things will die
but never as beautifully
as an airborne leaf
at six am
when the fragile breath
of the world is still visible
and gently cradles
its fall
to the earth.

I needed a current of still peaceful muse right now, so I read again and again. Your words loop delicately, like lace. I feel more of an embrace of the journey than mere acceptance here. Digit digit snap./

There are some pieces I read that simply wilt me into a big pile of sighs~~this is one of them. It's graceful, elegant, and almost like a whisper

    it's great, i only have a question.
What's "so delicate, it is barely there"? Is it an ambiguity? Journey? Or something else?

ah this is amazingly soft and beautiful... deaths are never easy but such a gentle last breath would be a comfort as opposed to the violent deaths of today.

your description is so alive... I can see the last fall and hear its soft rustle. Enchanting.

congrats on the feature. a beautiful, beautiful write

very beautiful ..."and acceptance of all things will die; but never as beautifully; as an airborne leaf; at six am; when the fragile breath; of the world is still visible; an gently cradles; its fall; to the earth." <---amazingly beautiful! I remember when I started to really focus on writing my poems, I really wanted to write about leaves falling gently to and fro to the ground...just a beautiful image...but never could put it into words as beautiful as the sight of autumn. you did just that! I love it

Fall is my favorite season. The image you bring, with such peace, is beautiful. I hear the silence of the moment, and see the vividly colored leaf as it falls. The brevity is perfect for this work of words. Lovely! ~Sigh~

You blow a breath of fresh air into each word you pen.
A single moment in time, so well written i can tell you about that leaf.

  • Gentle and soft, you do as well as shocking and raw. Matt says, he loves how you notice things and capture them...yes! Everyday things we notice turned into something so lovely.

Have you ever read The Fall of Freddy the Leaf? My mom used to read it to me and cry and this reminds me of it so much.

We are getting light headed from such loveliness. We credit the poetess for a sensitivity that surpasses the scaled increments. We are into super super sensitivity and we love your poem as divinity.

I love how you notice these things and capture them. beautifully written.

only suggestion: might read smoother with some sort of punctuation after 'and acceptance of all'

    breathe/breath?

This is so very beautiful You even make me like nature writing What is this insanity?! There is a nice contrast, and also mingling, between death and beauty here.

    shivers.
just when I think I've buttonholed you as one specific writer-you go and change on me. I was expecting a whopper at the end, and got one in the form of a soft, and gentle kiss of nature.
just beautiful. no critiques...I dont ever have anything I can offer you in the way of a critique-you just seem to know exactly what your doing, in order to get your feelings across. Most excellent soft poem for a cold morning like this.
    love,
