Away with the Light
into the Night
Summer is at its end
Oíche Shamhna Marks
a new year in the Celtic Calender
until next May
In the dark silence
comes whisperings
for New begninnings
its a time of reunion
of Families coming together
for the Feast of Tara
The Symphony of summer sounds
would be replaced by Magicks of Winter
Lighting the blessing Fires.
Kindling the new dreams and hopes
for the year to come
and Dance around the Halloween Bonfires.
laughter rings as children
go dookin' for apples
and sharing in the Apple Magicks..
blessed be the old ways..

Very good write. I quite like the second last stanza best, I appreciate how each stanza is three lines and still gives bursts of thoughts and imagery
