I...
Never was one to follow the lemmings down their open road,
Designing a life that echos that of those in front them,
Inventing an 'individual style' to impress on the next generation,
Visualizing a reality that is the social 'norm'.
I'm never caring what people think about me,rather am,
Delighted with their opinions of our surroundings, hoping they gain,
Understanding of a world of sameness...
Albeit filled with differences,we,
Learn from our world around us,
Individuality isn't 'a style', more an attitude,
Time to take the attitude and make it,
Your Style.

What a Concept and Statement
You have done well, expressing your thoughts and making a clear discernment concerning the subject of INDIVIDUALITY. I guess based on what you have said--It is an attidude which results in a style. It takes both--point well taken!
Thanks for your contribution to the cause. I hope many get the message and decide to join our ranks.

To be, or not to be...it's more than a question, it's a statement of self, itself.
Im not completely against doing things others are doing, if you truly like it, but doing it to be somebody is just sad.
But then again, who honestly wants to be the alienated, "differnt" person who finds themself left out and alone?
I dig the arcoustic look to this...and what's with the vain egoism deal of Feathered Moon down there?
They didn't even comment onthe write itself
Anyhell, great write.

Terrific! A great view of the word. Very positive message, and the ending is really good.
Thank you for participating, and good luck.

boring, cliche, doesn't say anything new and has no real literary merit, rythm or good word use.

I find it is better not to say anything at all, than to say something not nice. This was written for a contest, and was exactly what was requested. It has a great message, maybe you missed it?
