On a cloud of communication,
Where intangibility meets essence,
Two beings chance connection,
to find unity, permanence,
to vanquish common vapidity,
and be the success of each other.
Life as soil, to be the other's seed,
To grow together, healthy and vibrant,
To be the jealousy of lesser growth,
and the envy of soil itself.
Two beings as lovers, together as artists,
Grow old together, romance binding them as art,
beautiful and inspirational,
compatibility as color,
vibrant with depth and wisdom.
Free-flowing, the lovers leave clouds behind.
They exist as each other's heaven,
The God and Goddess, forever dancing,
laughing, finding contentment,
battling confusion amidst the
dark, hallowed world beneath them.
* * *
Basal rage, a man's soul tamed
by his beautiful minx.
You and I, the beings above clouds,
Separate, we're just a canvas and a palette,
Confused beings in a confused society;
Alas, together, we're the Dali to their Warhol,
the Nietzsche to their Augustine,
and the enigma to their common interest.
