I drift off, to be found by my
New reality, an amorphous existence
Where winds carry a challenging honesty,
the incarnation of rhythm itself.
Amidst the breeze, I meditate.
Swaying in the rhythm, my limbs become like
Quicksand, a physical contemplation of
the depth of character.
A quicksand entity, I am
The being who abides, the
Infidel to patiently infect and
Engulf, a suffocation mentality.
Author notes
There are two things that inspired this poem. One was Tool's "Vicarious", the other I'll leave you clever people to just go ahead and guess.

This one left me a bit on the puzzled side. I think I probably need to go and open another bottle of wine to be able to get into the swing of things. It's only 2.42am so the night is young, even if I am not.

A good piece you have here. I think the strong point of this is in its descriptions. And as Lowell Poe said, I wouldn't mind having a share as well.

I frickin' love the imagery in this, the way you wrote everything you can see the images in your head and maybe even feel it too. This is not bad.
