A Thirst To Quit

The scars may never heal
these cuts you'll always feel
but deep inside I hope you know
you're not alone, never alone.

With such courage and grace
no more tears will you shed
without containing false hopes
we'll never cross the line, holding so tight.

How can we stand such pain in life
beautiful photos supplying such hate
brings tears to eyes that never cry
I feel your pain and share my love

Sympathy surely lives not on the inside
it lies on the scars which we all hold.

    Hm.. interesting.

The first stana was a bit cliche, it's been done before.

I didn't get it, it had an aabb rhyme scheme and then the rest of the poem didn't rhyme.

I like the message though, and some of the phrases were creative.

Thanks for entering and good luck in my contest.

actually the first stanza had an aabc rhyme? so its not like it was supposed to be a rhyming poem or anything just an interesting opener. And it may have been cliche but that was the theme of the poem?..cutting, what it does to people, and my personal thought about it. So if I was a little too cliche in this one, then oh well.
