Remember

Remember how the cool april showers nourish
The parched Earth as life regains it's iridescence.
Ocean breezes, casting the balmy scent of summer
Lazing around in the illuminated night, as fireworks resound in the distance.
As August rolls past and school replaces july expeditions,
Beach chairs replaced by rigid seats and compelling words.
If you only knew how sorely you are missed
The absence of a brother, a sister, a husband, a wife, a mother, a father.
Love floats over the atlantic and to your arms
Don't waste the precious memories.
Please remember the snowflakes that fall on rosy noses and evergreen trees
They sing soft lullabies of sledding and carols
to the ones who need to hear it the most.

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!
