the people were purple and pleasant and kind
the color of healing though all of them blind
they dance beneath a tie dye sky
and never worry or wonder
why clouds don't go by or
why its always summer
all they know is freedom and love for one another
are they really happy never knowing sorrow?
never worrying or looking forward to tomorrow
you can try to ask them, but they will not reply
for they do not have the words with which to tell you why
