I dance around all day like wind from never,
I dream of empty galleries so cold.
Paintings on the walls are strange...
and yet i want them,
I long to paint like that and be so bold.
Look ,the colors are so dull yet glowing...
Like dreams i had the year I turned eighteen,
The halls are long ,and echoes chase me silent...
If this is home then where is it
I've been?
The emptiness is shadow filled as twilight,
Creeps in like ghosts to steal
the light away.
The paintings smile as i take
my leave of them.
Goodbye my frozen galleries ...
There will be another day.
Like a fool who lost her way ,
I take a turning,
Dreaming of silver moons and stars.
The starry galleries...
They will be waiting...
To take me to the crimson nights of Mars.

This really made my imagination soar, the imagery used was absolutely delightful! I love the eery tone combined with the gentle innocence of the words that you chose.
