What is love?
Is it merely just a word we use?
Or is it just too often abused?
The word love for years have left many confused
feeling used.
For many it's just a game
That fulfill their twisted aim
Leaving others in pain
Many say I know I love him/her
Because he/she is all I think about
Yet, they do things someone who loves you would never do.
Could it be we are all making a big mistake?
Or is just a risk we must all take?
Love is far more than just a word,
More than just a feeling,
It is never a mistake
Love at first sight is just a myth that many fall for.
To love someone you must know him/her.
Love is something that grows,
And eventually it shows
So the next time you are about to say 'I love you'
Don't,
Not unless you have thought
Beause you could just be saying I like you
Or I'd like to have you in my bed
The next time someone tells you 'I love you' think about it.
Don't be so easily swept off your feet
Because love is not something cheap.
