My Insanity

Lost in my mind
cant seem to find the time
to return to sanity
because what fun would that be
Im dancing around
but I dont hear a sound
Im lost in my mind
my craziness is a simple kind
I think Im going mad
but sometimes Im just a little sad
I dont fit in with the normal crowd
because the voices are getting loud
who knew this is what Id be
crazy thoughts coming from me
insanity is a funny thing
its like a happy bird with a broken wing
to feel like Im insane
I dont need a needle in my vein
I guess it just comes natural
that my mind is so irrational

    I love this poem. Especially "Insanity is a funny thing/it's like a happy bird with a broken wing". Is that a saying I don't know or did you do that? I like it a lot.
