Innocence of newborn child
Pure and trusting to His smile
Playful joys of a toddler too
Sees adventure in all things new
Stumbling child in all things tried
Growth in knowledge now applied
Seeking truth in all surrounds
Open heart is what He's found
Uncertain steps in path ahead
Trusting by His hand she's led
By carnal weakness she's beset
Failings often bring regret
In humble honor she bows down
On her head He's placed a crown

Seems To Reflect Your Personality...
...which is also a work of His.
I like the sense of child-like whimsy.
My only critique:
'Failings oft' do bring regret'. The 'do' is unnecessary as it usually is.
How about: 'Failings often bring regret'?
Otherwise, it's almost perfect.
