Tomorrow with Destruction At its Finest...

Don’t speak.
Silence.
A rare form among the world.
Calamity amongst the people.

Fallen heroes.
Whispered winds.
War has caused nothing but riot
and woeful tears to our nations.

Better never comes.
Ruptured growth.
And in the end peace will be of mystery
We will have turned against our self.

One nation under thy self.
Corruption at its finest.

Please tell me what you think

This is an awesome poem that spoke volumes in itself. I love the part..."Better never comes. Ruptured growth." How true is that? You are a very talented writer and it shows here in your poem. I can't believe you haven't entered this into a contest! This would surely be a winner for sure!

Of all our weapons of mass destruction, silence is the most powerful. You put a lot of yourself into this poem and it shows. fantastic write, Zombieface. I couldn't have done better myself.

    As it is said
"Silence is the best form of expression"
and so does this poem say... silence shouts!
I love the way you have incorporated silence and its protest against the modern political scenario.
a very powerful and effective write
Thank you for sharing this ...

I must say the biggest corrupting and the most influencement in my life has come from war and it enlighted me on how my life is spent. dead of brothers and sisters. mothers and fathers. Lives are made and destroyed within it. Children become parentless and husbands and wives become empty. we destroy ourselves over and over to build new and better and forget what has happened. But those burn by it the most are scared for life. this really brings me back and shows me that there are things that even people who havent seen it can still be effected. great write Kells and I thank you and respect you for this. much love my Zombieness.

Another great write Kelsbear. Sad but true the world is neither a fairy tale or a perfect place. It is good that you see the world for like it is you get less disappointed when you do. I agree with Cataline on we are all here for a reason and wheather or not the hell we are put through is a good enough reason to accomplish what we are ment for. We will become the worlds end if we keep up with the destruction. this piece keep writting dear Sea

Its best to see the world as it is. Which you and I both know you do. And its sad that people think war will solve everything. I fail to see the point in humanity sometimes. Yeah sure, we're all here for a reason. But whether or not that reason is worth being put thru the hell we have to go thru to accomplish such, is questionable at best. and unorthidox to say the least. The world was a beautiful place until we infested it with our filth. I love you Besteh
