1. Simply, what is your religion/religious beliefs?
I belong to no religion exactly, and I follow a set of beliefs I'd like to think are purely spiritual and brought on by my own experiences as a mortal man. My beliefs? I believe we will all die, and when we die we will discover that greatest question man has ever been able to answer. I also have faith in an underlying energy that is a part of everything, that everything in the entire universe is interconnected in some way, and that under modern society we have lost touch with this Universal Energy.
2. Do you feel comfortable with this belief or believe you should walk a different path? If you feel your path should be elsewhere, where do you feel you would be most comfortable?
I feel very comfortable with my direction in life. I have no answers to any questions, only speculations and verification by what is within me. But it is in knowing that I will never know, that I find my peace.
3. Describe in a short paragraph what you feel is the difference between religion and spirituality.
I don't think they really are all that different, they are about as different as the sounds between "eh" and "oh". Religion is spirituality following ceremony and traditions, where as spirituality is like religion except you are your own preacher and choir. You can fill a room with Christians and get them debating the bible, they will come up with just as many things to argue about as a room filled with spiritualists trying to tell each other what they think is and is not.
4. How do you feel about religious intolerance? Is there only one set of beliefs that should exist; or do you accept that each individual is entitled to their own beliefs? Moreso, would you accept that person into your life even with a different view?
Religious intolerance is something that I find quite amusing, and sad. There have been many men, women, and children, slain because they believe something different from someone else, or interpret the bible differently than another. This is wrong on many levels, and it continues to this day. There is no right path, belief, religion, only what feels right and gives us a purpose, allows us to feel like we fit into the cosmic web of existence in some way. I accept any, and all, faiths, so long as they are tolerable of my own. Otherwise, sure let them exist, I just won't pay them any heed.
5. I would like for you to quote me one religious/spiritual quote (does not have to be biblical) and interpret it into your own thoughts.
"If I had but the tiniest grain of wisdom, and I should walk in the great way, my only fear would be to stray from it." Lao Tzu
That saying has so much said in so little, a trademark of Taoist thought. "If I had but the tiniest grain of wisdom", humble in his mortality, knowing he is but a simple man with earthly desires who shall never attain the wisdom of the ages, nor pretend to. "And I should walk in the great way" He knows there is a path laid for humanity, a purpose for us all, he doesn't label it, just calls it "great" and a "way". "My only fear would be to stray from it", he says, summing up his thought that he is doing what he thinks is right in life, walking a path of enlightenment, his only fear in life, being that he will stray not from the path, BUT HIMSELF!

Love the thoughts in number 1. Beliefs that are purely spiritual and founded of our own experiences. Nice.
Number 4 is well stated. Again, I like your views here.
Thank you for helping me out. Please leave your entry in so that I have time to compile my thesis.
