Curl up on plate glass grass and hum the tune
D minor chord drops from the flowers head
Enter the birds that sing and soar too soon
Fair badger grabs the baton, stops it dead
Graceful diminuendo clouds go by
All's piano in the life-filled orchestra
But halt; as natures perfect ones entwine
Crescendo, new borns cry ignites the bar
Your born into a world that can't be right
And reasons for division persevere
But from day one a note sits like a light
Inside your soul, connects from ear to ear
A melody the world can understand
Lies deep in nature, now, strike up the band!
Author notes
Just my thoughts on how sometimes music and life come together so well, hope peeps like it.
