Survey Questions.

1. Simply, what is your religion/religious beliefs?
I follow the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, as disseminated by Ananda and Self Realization Fellowship. However, I do not affiliate myself with either of these societies, just with "Master's" teachings.
2. Do you feel comfortable with this belief or believe you should walk a different path? If you feel your path should be elsewhere, where do you feel you would be most comfortable?
I feel absolutely comfortable with my belief. I have walked other paths, such as that of the Hare Krishna faith before, but felt that their guru was very much invested in his own agendas.
3. Describe in a short paragraph what you feel is the difference between religion and spirituality.
Religion requires an outer God, which we do not always see in our own lives, however much we might call to Him. Spirituality reminds us that God is within us all, and we only need look within to find Him.
4. How do you feel about religious intolerance? Is there only one set of beliefs that should exist; or do you accept that each individual is entitled to their own beliefs? Moreso, would you accept that person into your life even with a different view?
I feel that each individual is most certainly entitled to their own beliefs, as long as they do not "bash" others' beliefs. If somebody was as open-minded about my faith as I would be about theirs I would accept them unwaveringly.
5. I would like for you to quote me one religious/spiritual quote (does not have to be biblical) and interpret it into your own thoughts.
"There never was a time when I did not exist nor you, nor any of these kings, nor will there be any future where we cease to be." (Bhagavad Gita, 2:18) This is one of my favourite Gita quotes, because it means to me that even when we leave our bodies here, we will continue elsewhere. It means also that we need not grieve excessively for those who have gone before, for bearing that in mind, we will meet again, for they continue to exist, albeit on another plane.

I personally am not familiar with the teachings of the belief system you have stated; but by reading the rest of your responses, I find it is something I should perhaps at least touch base with to better understand beyond what I already do.

Being open minded to that fact that other things exist was enough of an answer for me.

Please leave this entered here for a bit so that I might have time to compile my thesis.
Thank you for helping me out.
