    Oh my gosh! Thant was excellent, brutal! This is really powerful! It's true, too. When someone's caght in an abusive relationship, they find excuses to love their partner ,despite what is the reality. Great poem!

    Concise, brutal, honest... This is what I look for in a write this short. If you're going to give me 10 lines or less, you better connect with that swing. My metaphorical jaw hurts...

    I absolutely loved the last line. Not a big fan of italics in poetry, but here, it worked. Well deserved Gold.
